By joining the External Supply Chain Team at LEO Pharma, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless\fs flow of goods and services, directly contributing to the availability of life-changing medications for patients worldwide. Our team works closely with External Manufacturing Leads, External Supply Chain Leads, Procurement, Global Supply Chain functions, and QA/QC functions.

This role is situated in Ballerup, Denmark where some of our key stakeholders are placed. 

Your role
As the External Supply Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. Your main objectives will include operational planning, procurement, and coordination for one or more Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). You will ensure the smooth flow of goods and services, maintain inventory levels, and support the External Manufacturing team.

•    Operational Planning and Procurement: Responsible for planning, procurement, and coordination for CMOs.
•    Release Coordination and Priority Management: Leading daily flow board meetings and coordinating artwork and regulatory requirements.
•    Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate records.
•    Vendor Coordination: Communicating with CMOs and suppliers to track orders and resolve issues.
•    Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing data related to procurement and inventory.
•    Operational Support: Executing operational tasks with other team members.

Further significant work tasks include managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods, preparing and updating supply and inventory reports, maintaining compliance with company policies, and participating in process improvement initiatives. 

Who are you?

We are looking for you who possesses: 

•    A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant field.
•    Some years of broad experience within supply chain, logistics, and/or supply management.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
•    Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
