Your role
As our new DMPK Scientist, you will lead and execute investigations into ADME properties for early and late-stage projects. You will be the contact point for PK studies, coordinating with CRO partners, and delivering insights that directly support dose setting, dermal formulation, and global product team decisions.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary scientific teams, providing strategic input and execution, bridging pharmacokinetics modelling and translational sciences.
Your key tasks:
- Design and execute studies externally to optimise ADME properties in topical and systemic drug products.
- Apply and interpret PK/PD modelling tools (e.g., Phoenix, R) to inform exposure–effect relationships.
- Provide holistic DMPK support to development teams across absorption studies, metabolism profiling, and drug-drug interaction understanding.
- Coordinate and manage studies with external CROs in partnership with internal outsourcing functions.
- Shape skin PK strategies for profiling compounds in alignment with basic pharmacology and therapeutic goals.
Additional responsibilities include translational dose predictions, integration with toxicology and formulation teams, and close collaboration with innovation partners. Experience in dermal PK assessment with PK/PD models is considered an advantage.
Your qualifications
We are seeking a scientist with strong technical and scientific skills in pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism, paired with the ability to act independently while engaging closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key requirements:
- PhD in biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or other related field.
- Significant pharma/biotech research experience — preferably in ADME, DMPK, and PK/PD.
- Strong understanding of relevant animal models for PK/PD.
- Solid knowledge of drug development stages and processes.
- Preferably, experience in dermal PK measurements.
On a personal level, you are you are a clear communicator who can connect with both scientific and non-scientific audiences, building trusted collaborations across disciplines. You make decisions with sound judgment, guided by science, data, and experience. You work in an organised and proactive way, prioritising effectively to keep projects on track and moving forward.

You will join a small, diverse team of six people in the Science Department , working alongside experienced PK experts, scientists, and external CRO partners. You’ll have the freedom to act independently, bring your expertise to key studies, and collaborate in a supportive environment where your contributions directly influence early drug development across dermatology, immunology, and oncology.
