Your role

The overall objective is to establish and facilitate a dermatology mindset in SSI and the rest LEO Pharma, through articulation of clinical problems worth solving based on unmet needs and burden of disease as well as transformative innovative concepts and treatments that alter the way dermatology is practiced in the future.

• Identify and describe diseases with a high unmet need worth solving and be accountable for including this in the search and evaluation activities, indication identification and indication expansion activities across the company.
• Build disease understanding.
• Improve the differentiation and positioning of near market or already marketed assets against competitors.
• Build long lasting relationship across the organisation, especially within Commercial, Medical Affairs, Development and Manufacturing
• Evaluate and make dd of external assets that have been identified by external innovation and business development for possible acquisition or in-licensing.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications

• Certified Physician Dermatologist 
• PhD preferably within (molecular) cell biology/immunology
• Experience from pharmaceutical industry in  translational science and medicine preferred but not essential
• Strong scientific and clinical mindset
• Strong strategic mindset
