Are you ready to set the standard for how world-class brands are planned, launched, and brought to life in markets around the globe? As Head of Global Sales and Marketing Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening LEO Pharma’s commercial impact by building scalable frameworks, enabling high-performing teams, and turning strategy into measurable business results.

 


Your role

You will lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of LEO Pharma’s global Strategic Brand Planning, Launch Excellence, and Sales Force Excellence frameworks. Your mission is to ensure seamless execution across global teams and affiliates, while developing the capabilities needed to drive commercial performance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and managing the global Strategic Brand Planning framework, ensuring brand strategies are translated into actionable market plans.
  • Leading the global Launch Excellence framework to support successful, well-orchestrated brand launches across markets.
  • Designing and embedding the Global Sales Force Excellence framework, including best-practice tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Developing targeted training programmes for sales representatives and first-line sales managers to strengthen commercial effectiveness.
  • Establishing KPIs and performance metrics for brand planning, launch execution, and sales force performance.


You will also integrate brand planning, launch excellence, and sales force excellence initiatives with broader commercial strategies, including omnichannel and customer engagement models. By capturing learnings and sharing best practices across regions, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure LEO Pharma keeps raising the bar.



Your qualifications

We are looking for a commercially and globally experienced leader with deep expertise in brand strategy, launch excellence, and sales force effectiveness within pharma or healthcare. You know how to turn strategic ambition into scalable frameworks and operational execution, and you bring the leadership skills needed to align stakeholders across a global matrix organisation.

We imagine that you bring:

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
  • + 8 years’ experience in international brand management, commercial excellence, or sales force effectiveness in pharma or healthcare.
  • A proven track record in designing and managing global strategic brand planning processes.
  • Good expertise in sales force training, capability building, tools, and performance metrics.
  • Experience working in a multicultural, global matrix organisation.


You have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, commercial operations, omnichannel engagement, and the market trends shaping customer engagement. As a person, you are strategic, structured, and results-oriented, with strong influencing skills and the ability to coach, mentor, and build capability across teams.



Your new team

You will join Global Customer Engagement in Ballerup and report to the VP Global Commercial Operations & Marketing. You will lead a growing team, currently with two direct reports and plans for expansion, and work closely with Global Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, Market Access, affiliate leaders, HR, Learning & Development, external partners, and senior leadership.


Together, you will strengthen the way LEO Pharma plans, launches, and drives commercial excellence globally.
