Your Role

We seek a highly experienced Biostatistician to lead strategy and execution across development projects within LEO Pharma. You will function as a Biostatistics Associate Director, driving input to clinical development programs, designing clinical trials, mentoring colleagues, and influencing asset strategy globally. This is a front-office role, where you will be steering project decisions, and ensuring regulatory excellence.

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide and consolidate biostatistical input to clinical development programs and other key deliverables at the program level.
• Represent the department in global program teams, functional sub-teams and health authority interactions.
• Role model project leadership.
• Collaborate across disciplines on early-stage and late-stage projects, and support business development on due diligence.
• Support integration efforts involved in onboarding new assets.

Your Qualifications

• Extensive experience in clinical drug development
• Proven leadership experience in global project teams.
• Broad understanding of business cases and value chains.
• Driven by innovation, results, and strategic business needs.
• Solid theoretical statistical background with M.Sc. or PhD in statistics, mathematics, computing, or engineering.
• Experience in regulatory interactions (EU, US, PMDA, CMDA).
• Strong project management and communication skills, savvy negotiator.
• Ability to collaborate with people across multiple areas of expertise.
• Proven track record of peer-reviewed publication.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Biostatistics at LEO Pharma is working in a dynamic matrix structure where we ensure robust scientific results from clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and impactful insights. Innovation is focused on adaptive trial designs and use of Bayesian methods. As part of our expanding Search & Development model, you will be at the forefront of science, strategy, and patient care - collaborating globally to deliver innovations faster and more effectively. The team consists of 10-15 biostatisticians with varied backgrounds and personalities, fostering an informal and collaborative environment. This global role offers the opportunity to work with experts across multiple disciplines and geographies.
