Your role
You will be responsible for the Procurement area within the IT respective categories. Empower procurement opportunities to improve total cost proactively and optimize spend within the category and drive improvements but also design, maintain and continuously improve the sourcing process and procurement strategy for HW and Network across Global IT and LEO Pharma.
- Develop and execute the Hardware & Network category strategy (global/local) to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and value, including supplier landscape and governance (tenders/RFX, transparency, and selection).
- Manage spend details, contracts (ownership, end dates, commitments, flexibility, terms and conditions), renewal planning, and ensure clear controls and risk mitigation.
- Drive end-to-end sourcing projects from ideation to contracting and implementation, including negotiations and supplier onboarding.
- Manage supplier relationships (segmentation, performance, and ongoing activity) and act as a trusted advisor to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, quantify, and execute cost saving opportunities and commercial improvements; challenge business cases and options to optimize value.
- Ensure IT procurement ownership for selected vendors, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain processes across global/local category strategies, stakeholder engagement, and value-adding initiatives.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- University degree (or equivalent) and 0–2 years’ procurement/sourcing experience, preferably in biotech/pharma or as a Category Manager.
- Solid understanding of hardware, network and telephony categories with strong financial and analytical skills for TCO and data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability in contract development, negotiation and execution of large, business‑critical agreements; familiar with supplier contractual/legal issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management: can translate technical concepts for business and senior management and act as a trusted advisor; Danish language skills preferable.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities, complex procurement projects and drive implementation.
- Proficiency in process formulation/improvement, standardization and supplier/contract management with a strong drive for continuous optimization.
- Outcome-driven: focus on driving results, strengthening capabilities, and achieving clear goals.
- Enterprise-oriented: prioritize the company’s overall interests and align decisions across the organization.
