Your Role

As a (Senior) Global Category Manager for Professional Services, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with LEO Pharma’s goals.

This role offers significant senior exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by collaborating with and influencing the top levels of the organization.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and risk management, while embracing the desire to challenge the status quo and drive strategic initiatives.

Primary work tasks:

• Develop and implement category strategies based on data analysis and market insights.
• Lead procurement projects, tenders, and supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with LEO Pharma’s objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to streamline procurement processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on procurement decisions.

Beyond these tasks, you’ll also oversee supplier segmentation, contract management, and the execution of sourcing initiatives, ensuring full transparency and alignment with LEO Pharma’s strategic goals.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced professional with a solid background in international procurement whether as category manager from the industry or as a consultant.

We therefore imaging you have following:

• Expertise in managing large, complex procurement projects and negotiating critical contracts.
• Solid knowledge of supplier management, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and drive results within the category of responsibility. 
• Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in procurement in roles such as (Senior) Category Manager, Procurement Consultant or similar.
