Your role

As Field Medical Advisor, Critical Care, you will be part of Global Medical Affairs and based in Greece, with field activities primarily across Greece and annual visits envisioned to Cyprus and Albania. Your main objective will be to build a strong external expert network through impactful scientific interactions in thrombosis and oncology. You will also support training initiatives, LMR processes and congress preparations while contributing to LEO Pharma’s strategic medical objectives. 

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Build professional, credible relationships with KEE/KOLs of strategic importance in the thrombosis and oncology market. 
• Deliver high-quality scientific presentations and exchanges with healthcare professionals and key accounts. 
• Act as a medical point of contact for customer queries and provide accurate, up-to-date scientific information in thrombosis and oncology. 
• Capture and communicate field insights to Global Medical Critical Care and relevant local business stakeholders. 
• Develop and implement the Medical Strategy Plan for the Greek market ensuring alignment with global priorities
• Support evidence generation initiatives and other scientific activities (advisory boards, medical education opportunities, webinars) collaborating with physicians and stakeholders within the medical community
• Ensure the highest standards of medical integrity, compliance and governance across all medical affairs activities

You will also contribute to medical information activities at congress booths, participate in LEO Pharma Medical team forums, review promotional and non-promotional materials as part of LMR review, and provide medical expertise and training to sales and marketing teams. 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you bring strong scientific expertise, solid knowledge of relevant regulations and codes of conduct, experience engaging healthcare stakeholders, the ability to translate complex medical information into impactful communication, and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or healthcare environment. 

We are looking for someone with:

• A minimum graduate-level qualification in life sciences. 
• Strong scientific and product knowledge within relevant therapeutic areas. 
• Solid knowledge of applicable national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, policies and procedures. 
• Experience working with healthcare professionals such as haematologists, oncologists, surgeons, pharmacists, nurses, internal medicine specialists, elderly care specialists or payers. 
• Experience using insights, CRM tools such as Veeva, and cross-functional collaboration to support medical objectives. 

As a person, you are collaborative, curious and action-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to build networks, plan effectively and stay agile in a changing environment.

Your new team

You will join Global Medical Affairs, Critical Care, reporting to the Regional Medical Lead, Critical Care. Your key internal partners will include Key Account Managers, the Business Unit Lead Greece, Global Medical Affairs, Global Medical Information, Quality and Compliance.  Together, you will ensure a strong medical and scientific presence for LEO Pharma working to collaborate cross functionally.

The annual gross base salary for new hires in this role ranges from EUR 55.000 to EUR 85.000. This range has been established by considering multiple factors such as the candidate’s experience, educational background, unique skill set, and the market value for the position. Additionally, this role may include a variable performance-based component, which varies depending on the responsibilities and organizational level.

Compensation is offered within the established range and is determined by evaluating the candidate’s skills, professional background, and level of expertise, in alignment with Greek labor regulations and the company’s internal policy.
