Your role
The Field Market Access Manager ensures maximum patient access to LEO Pharma’s products in the Netherlands by building strong, strategic relationships with key hospital stakeholders (pharmacists, buyers,…). The role supports the sales team and MSLs in market access related matters, and plays a pivotal part in achieving Benelux business objectives through successful negotiation and establishment of contracts with Dutch hospitals.
With the main objective of driving the local hospital market access in the Netherlands, please find the responsibilities in details:
1. Market Access and Strategy Development
• Co-develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure hospital access for current and future products.
• Create account (hospital) plans and map relevant stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder negotiations to gain hospital formulary inclusion and secure institutional contracts.
• Position LEO Pharma as a preferred partner and value creator by ensuring a high value-based perception of products.
• Act as a subject matter expert on LEO’s product value proposition, utilizing clinical and economic data to demonstrate product and economic benefits.
• Collect market intelligence to inform strategies and decisions.
2. Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with key hospitals stakeholders (pharmacists, buyers,...)
• Engage in consistent, transparent communication to foster trust and partnership.
3. Contract and Pricing Coordination
• Coordinate, process, and manage hospital contracts accurately and efficiently.
• Implement and monitor price agreements in collaboration with the Customer Service team in Gdansk.
4. Performance Targets and Compliance
• Achieve defined access targets aligned with local market access strategies.
• Keep CRM systems updated, ensuring compliance with SOPs, legislation, policies, and the LEO Code of Conduct.
• Complete mandatory and role-specific training within required timelines.
5. Personal Development and Core Values
• Participate in personal growth initiatives (LEO GROW) and relevant training programs.
• Promote and uphold LEO Pharma’s core values in all activities.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols, reporting any health or safety concerns per company policy.
6. Additional Duties
• Execute other tasks as required to support business objectives and company operations.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or relevant healthcare professional background
• Languages: Dutch/English
• ICT literate: Outlook, CRM, Windows, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Driver's license
• Knowledge of market access and add-on medicines
• Knowledge (and a national network) of hospitals and their DMU-members and of the local decision making process
• Experience in the therapeutic area is an advantage (dermatology and/or biologics or immunology)
• Skilled in mapping stakeholders/decision makers and translating this to action.
